Volunteer in the Community

If you are looking for ways to get involved in the greater South Bend area, we encourage you to check out opportunities with some of our community partners. Several organizations offering regular volunteer opportunities for college students are listed below.

Catholic Charities

Open to members of all faiths, Catholic Charities provides counseling services, as well as food, housing, employment, child care, and disaster relief for those dealing with crises.

Center for the Homeless

In addition to providing long-term self-sufficiency programs, Center for the Homeless also supplies housing placement and critical supplies.

Food Bank of Northern Indiana

The Food Bank works with the community to supply programs for emergency food assistance and nutritional assistance.

Hope Ministries

Hope provides emergency and transitional housing for families and individuals. Residents and other community members in need are served three meals per day at no cost.
